I had an absolute riot at Ms. Ivana’s regular show, Sunday School for Sinners. It was cheeky and irreverent and mostly non-stop hilarity. A special thanks to photographer @licentious_aperture!

I will be participating in this show on February, 7th!

Videographer Mordecai Lecky produced this work in collaboration with Raqs Razi and myself.
I was recently asked to perform at a bar in Biloxi, MS for the first time in years. I had let my insurance and practice seriously lapse during the pandemic. Which I understand was an all too common experience among my fellow performance artists. But, here I am all resurrected! I have found my love for the artform again. Fire dart is the new prop obsession. Since my Biloxi Gig I performed at Deep Roots Kava Bar in Columbus, GA for their grand opening and got booked for a variety show at The Red Light Cafe in Atlanta! I have been slowly revamping and bringing back my gig sites and social media presence as a performer. Getting the WordPress site squared away was the last major marketing effort for now.
So, I said goodbye to Balefire. Which we founded in 2008! It will remain a warm memory in my heart as it filled a void that I never knew I had until I lit that first prop (fire fans). I have been really enjoying this opportunity to reinvent myself and dive back into the art! This passion is so precious and easily lost. I am now Eric Greenfingers! To date I have danced with staff, leviwand, zip poi, fire fans and now fire dart which has been the biggest fire I have flung to date. I am seeking collaborators and patrons as I manifest this glamour!

Balefire will be performing at Mezcalitos Cocina & Tequila Bar in Atlanta for Cinco de Mayo! Starting at about 5pm we will be giving 4 shows, each on the hour. Come celebrate the day with us!
We are excited and honored to be asked to perform for Hoofs 4 Healing! It will be their Grand Opening Benefit / Music Festival. We will be performing during the afternoon.
Saturday, January 18, 2014 10am until ???? 1514B Old Dean Forest Road – I-16 at Dean Forest/behind the Pilot Station
